Can I haggle with Verizon to lower the data plan cost?
Because the phone I want is free if I use my upgrade through Amazonwireless or Newegg, but I can't afford the extra $30 on my bill. The phone I have had for the past two years finally stopped working, and I need a replacement. But, unfortunately, this hit me at a bad financial time. And unfortunately again the phones you can get for free on the verizon site don't cut it for me I need it for my job I already had a smartphone, but I got it through the store and was able to avoid the data plan by bargaining with them two years ago. Since then, I have gotten a new job, and I have been on thin ice with the boss because of my lack of... Technology, I guess you can say. But I just really can't afford the $30. So, is there a way I can get my phone through amazon or newegg, sign up for the data plan at full price because I have yet to find a way to haggle with the computer then try to bargain with an actual Verizon salesman to lower it later?

I am on Verizon currently, and I am planning to get an iPhone 4S. Is it cheaper to stay with Verizon for an iPhone or go to AT& T for one?
Verizon Shared Family Plan?
I lost my cell phone, but my family and me can upgrade our phones now. I want a smartphone but the data plan is expensive. I know that the shared family data plan in going to be released around the summer, so should I get the data plan now or wait for the shared plan, since my dad also wants internet and my brother already has internet. If i get the data plan now, can i change it to the shared data plan in the future? Thanks

Does regular Verizon cable have DVR capability?
I'm moving into an apartment that does not have Verizon Fios but does have " simple Verizon cable hookup" . Right now we have a Verizon DVR cable box in the house and we're all hooked up with Fios. But when we move into this apartment that doesn't have Fios, will we still have the DVR capability since we have a DVR box? I'm assuming all Fios does is give better picture right? The general question is will I have DVR capability in this apartment that has normal Verizon cable if I have a DVR box?

I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2, is there anyway I can get it working on Verizon? I not, I have a Galaxy Nexus, also unlocked. I figure that the s2 might not be compatible but the nexus should. So would I be able to use the nexus on the Verizon network as long as I bought a Verizon sim? would I have to create an APN setting?
